In order to provide hosted VoIP services, service providers has to upgrade their capabilities to be able to provision the new service. Softswitches, media gateways, and application servers are all basic building blocs for established players, and for new entrants many other OSS and BSS components are required to complete with product differentiation and time-to-market strategies. Into this scenario current players or new entrants, need to realize the opportunity cost of not moving quickly to capture market share in VoIP services, thus white-label hosted VoIP applications are the best way forward to suceed.
